Whew! The children are nestled all snug in their beds while visions of Santa gifts dance in their heads. Although we tried to keep it super mellow this year it still seems like Christmas Eve is very overwhelming for the little ones. We went to church at 3 and then to dinner at Outback. Home, decorating cookies, PJ presents from mom and dad, Night before Christmas and bed! Both boys were nearly in tears going to sleep. Christmas is super overwhelming & emotional! Santa is at work now preparing for tomorrow and then we are off to bed.
