Happy Halloween!

We had a great night trick or treating in the neighborhood! Thomas was so funny after just a few houses he said " Mommy, we have enough candy, let's go home!" It was fun and they have been in bed for a while now:)

Roctoberfest!

We went to Seacoast tonight for their Rocktober fest. A night of family fun! The kids had a good time. Thomas played the cake walk game and won! He was so excited, we couldn't eat what he won so we gave it away. I do love this time of year but have seen enough ( battled over enough!) candy to last all year...

2009 Pumpkin Pictures!

After school we ran by the pumpkin patch quickly to take some pictures. It was pretty crazy and some sweet lady took some of the children and emailed them to me! I did not even know her!! What a blessing!

Miss Spider's Tea Party at school

Instead of a Halloween party this year, Thomas' class did a Miss Spider's Tea Party based on the book. It was so cute! They made bug eyes and their teacher Mrs. Heather was Mrs. Spider! We really love his new school!

A quick trunk or treat!

We stopped by my mom's church last night for a few minutes of their trunk or treat. It was fun for the boys to get to be in their costumes and they quickly caught on what trick or treat means!

Froggy Friend of the week!

Thomas is Froggy Friend of the week ( Student of the week )! He has been the chapel helper, amongst other fun things this week at school. Today he got to bring in his favorite food to share with all of his class. He brought Chick fa lae for all of his friends. Grilled Chicken nuggets, fries and sweet tea! The children were thrilled to have such a yummy snack and Thomas was thrilled to share it with them! After their snack they throw their stuff away and then go chose a book and read quietly on the rug until Mrs. Heather comes to read a final story before they leave. Aren't they precious!!!

Tuesday Fun!

While Thomas was in school I took the little kids to Barne's and Noble to play trains. West had a great time playing and Shelton had a great time wondering away, we didn't stay too long!
I surprised Thomas with pizza for lunch. Because he has Celiac Disease getting pizza is a big deal! We used to buy some frozen kind but it's expensive and they don't sell it at all the shops that we go to now. He got to make his own and was super excited!
I confess, I'm addicted, it's so fun, you should try it!!!

Cute shirts, canning and a birthday party!

We've had a fun weekend. The boys Halloween shirts came in, arent they cute! We celebrated our neighbor Chirsty's birthday last night, sadly didn't have my camera out, but had a wonderful time hanging out with all of our neighbors! Our prayer has always been to have neighbors whom we love and enjoy spending time with, the Lord has answered that prayer. They love our boys and it was fun to watch them so comfortable with each of them last night.
We also celebrated Tucker's 10th birthday today at a put-put place, my boys are really into "golf" right now so they loved it!
Do you follow Darby's blog? If not you should, see the link below in my blog list. She was blogging about being a nerd and canning and I have totally caught on!! It's so fun! You have to try it. Tonight I made Pumpkin butter and the apple butter is still in the crock pot!
Happy Fall ya'll!

Boo at the Zoo!

We spent Sunday at the zoo in Columbia. They have such a nice zoo and the children really enjoyed it! We also saw AnnaBelle and her amazing shop and ate gluten free pizza at Zpizza! We had a nice time but was glad to be home. The weather here has been unseasonably cold but the cold has been a nice change from the 90s. Happy Fall everybody!

23 months olds

Every night for 23 months West has slept right here... We can not believe that in one month West will be 2! How has that happened? He is such a handful but is also so sweet! He loves daddy but has a fierce need for "mama" and a lot of me! Sometimes it's very challenging but I look at Thomas and know that "the days are long but the years are short!". I feel so blessed to be West's mom and that he has snuggled with me every night for 23 months!

1st Chuck E. Cheese party!

What an experience we had at Thomas' first Chuck E. Cheese party! He loved it and was so excited about going:) It was pretty crazy there and I am pretty sure the boys probably were exposed to more germs in that one place than their whole lives combined! Drew from Thomas' class turned 5 and he invited all of his classmates. I have to say I love this age, they are so cute with all their buddies, and get so excited to see each other!
