Swim team banquet and Sullivan's Island

Thomas had his swim team banquet last night. It was a little crazy because I was there with all three alone, Tommy had class.  Hartley was very loud and we ran out as soon as he got his medal. Thomas' sweet friend Caroline swam with us and it just warmed my heart to see them together. Each other were the others first friend! Afterwards they swam at the pool in the dark, so much fun! Today we headed out to Sullivan's Island for some fun in the sun. I'm embarrassed to say that Hartley got a bit of a sun burn. I wasn't very thorough in applying the sunscreen.. I've gotten lazy with the spray on and it was very very windy. I am often judging the mothers who apply sun screen on the beach and not beforehand but today that was me and I'm here to say it backfired! Please apply before you go. It isn't a bad one, I think she'll be fine by the morning but enough to teach me a lesson. So much fun today! We live in Heaven on earth.

Family camp!

We had a wonderful time at Family camp last weekend. Camp St. Christopher is a beautiful place and close to our home. We were blessed to be there with good friends and met some new ones along the way. Father Shay preaches on the importance of family ministry a lot at church. This weekend he gave us some more practical ways to use family ministry as a tool for our family. The most challenging thing about family ministry is that it causes you took look at your parenting, your marriage and yourself.. With little people you just keep it short and sweet but the benefits are huge, The verse that we focused on was Deuteronomy 6. What an awesome responsibility we have to these little people! Lot's of fun was had in sessions, games, beach time, camp fire, kayaking and more! Looking forward to going again next year!

Sweet thing covering her ears becasuse they hurt so badly...
Only wanting momma...We spent a lot of time in bed together.
Sweet boys who waited with me for an hour today at the peds.. Slightly challenging situation..
Don't be fooled, sister really is sick.. Imagine if we all looked this good sick?
Crazy girl after 2 back to back treatments, late at night on the table!
I'm hiding in my room. Normally on Monday nights I go exercise but tonight I am way to tired... Tommy doesn't have school this week for the 4th, on the way home he went to the gym, so I get to hide in my room. Who ever thought that would be a fun thing to do but it is! Hartley is very very demanding of me when she is sick.. It's been interesting to listen to her with daddy as she is not nearly as demanding of him as she has been of me all day. Don't get me wrong, she's been really sick and I am happy to meet her needs, but it is exhausting... I think I nursed her more today than most people nurse a new born... Momma is tired. Blessed but tired.. RSV, Viral Pnemonia and an ear infection.. Anyone ever used Albuteral, we did with West and I had heard it could make them hyper.. and I am here to say it can. Hyper amoungst other things. Hartley was up so late last night after two back to back treatments.. Climbing, running, everywhere. Today; hitting, biting, I've tried to get her xopenex but our insurance is fighting us, how much without insurance you may ask, $484.00, umm no thanks! I haven't given her anymore today because she was such a nightmare.. Hopefully she'll be ok... I can give her 1/2 a dose if I have to but her oral steriods should cover her alittle.. Here are some shots from the last few days.
