Does it get any better than that? Celebrating your first born and Mother's Day all in the same day? I love all of my children equally, but differently, and certainly Thomas being the 1st makes him special in that way. Thomas is such a treasure to us. He's quiet, obedient, kind, thoughtful, very tender hearted, a beautiful pianist and swimmer! Thomas has come so far this year in school, with his piano and swimming, he's worked very hard in all areas! He's still really teeny, maybe 43 pounds? Superrr skinny, especially with all that swimming, last week was 5 days in a row! But eats like crazy! Way more than I do! There are no words to describe our love for Thomas and what he means to us. Truly a gift from the Lord that we are not worthy of! Happy 8th birthday sweet boy!!!

We had my mom and a couple of the children's cousins over for lunch. They had a great time running around and we loved visiting with mumsey. Now going through Molly's adoption and reflecting often on the sacrifices she made for me I treasure her more and truly love her more and more each year! I think the older you get the more you appreciate your momma! Much like my love for Thomas I have not enough words to describe what my momma means to me. Tommy was so sweet this year and came up with such a creative idea for Mother's day. He bought these chairs, built them, primed them, painted them and then we did the children's hands and feet on them and decorated them into Lobsters and Crabs. We always need more seating on our deck or out front and these were just the perfect thing! Fun and practical! Thank you honey! I'm so thankful for you! My heart although full and thankful today with my babies was also a bit sad.. I thought a lot about Molly's birth mom and the selfless love that she showed Molly when she chose life for her twice. I hope that somehow the Holy Spirit will give her peace knowing that Molly will now always be taken care of and loved... I can't imagine laying down at night wondering where your daughter is.. We will always pray for her and be so thankful for her sacrificial love!

Prayed for this sweet darling and this precious foster momma often today!! So thankful for her & can not wait to get our hands on sweet Molly!
Tommy took the children to the Battery soccer game last night and I went to a girl's night out for dinner. I got home about 11 as did the children. They were beyond tired today! They never fall asleep like this. West literally fell asleep at the table! Then he woke up and I laid him on the couch and he fell asleep again!
