How have five years passed so quickly once again. Sometimes they day to day motions of life seem so slow but then you look back and it's gone so fast! West is our sweet, first to offer to pray at the dinner table each night, timid, and most helpful child! West still has a hard time separating from us and sits in church with us each week quiet as a mouse with threat of his "classroom". West loves people and all animals. He says he's going to own a farm and be a animal Dr when he grows up! When I told him recently that a friend of ours had died, he said let's go get them and hug them mommy! Truly such a tender heart.. He loves all of our neighbors and would rather help Mrs. Ginny carry in her groceries then play with the other boys. West is also my outdoors child! Is begging for a 4 wheeler, hook and a trailer to pull it with, begs to go fishing every day and generally is thrilled for big trucks and anything outside. West is very sensitive and you have to be very careful how you talk to him, change plans on him etc, he needs lots of warning and talking to. He works with a private speech therapist once a week and has for a while now. He is improving but is still far behind his peers with a lot of sounds. We think this def contributes to his separation issues. He does seem to be outgrowing his breathing issues, thank you Jesus and hasn't had an emergency room visit for that in a while now! We are so thankful for the blessing West is in our lives. He is truly a gift and the world is a much sweeter place with him in it!
