Adventure part 2

Wow..where do I begin? The plan was to meet Lindsay downtown at the Aquarium and then we would go from there, maybe have a picnic?!? These 2 boys have sooo much energy that the Aquarium was no match for them so we went out the the front where they could run and play and not fall into the harbour!! They had the best time playing in this fountain, did you see the sign? "please stay out of the water", yes we are good Christian mommas so we moved on to the Waterfront park. How did you get there you say? Well, we took the Trolley, hence the Bus downtown..That was really no big deal but she said we had to be ready to leave at 2:40. We played in the water there and then went over to let the boys swing on the swings and we could feed the babies. So funny there was this African American man sitting on the swing closest to us, all the swings were taken and Roman just climbed up right next to him and then Thomas did the same. Lindsay and I were saying how we love that the boys do not see race, just 2 open seats:) Anyway, we looked at the clock and it was 2:40. We RAN down to the bus to see it pulling away...No big deal we'll just walk to get ice cream and then ether catch another bus or walk back to the Aquarium. We got Ben and Jerry's and decided to go wait for the bus, we were walking up and saw a bus so we RAN to the bus, jumped on, at last all safe and sound. Hardly..the ever so nice guy driving the bus says you must break the strollers down, What?!? Break them down..do you have any idea what that involves..Are you sure I ask, we have ridden the Trolley before and it was no big deal, you must break them down..So, imagine this, me, Lindsay, 4kids, wet clothes, coolers, ice cream, pocket books, cell phones, cameras, the whole 9 yards!! So in the process of breaking them down I had to ask a COMPLETE stranger to hold West bc I could not break any of it down while holding him. That turned out to not really be a big deal, the bigger deal was the we had gotten on the WRONG trolley..Yep, the wrong one, we went all through downtown, over to the Battery etc and back to the Visitors center, from there we just walked back to the Aquarium. Poor Roman had been walking all day so we let he and Thomas "snuggle" ( their word ) in the back of ours and we walked back to our cars. Over all we had a great day, it was so much fun to be with Roman, Lindsay and baby Jude, we are so thankful for their go with the flow attitude and their friendship! West is also standing more and more everyday, you can see him in his jammas standing at the kitchen table tonight:)
