We are having an odd week.. Thomas did not go to school on Tues bc it was just too much to get him out of the house..had to wake him up, West was screaming..so we stayed home. TOday I tried to take him and he freaked out. Not typical of Thomas at all so I let him come home with me. I have never and will not now leave him when he is that upsett..So I took him into the Drs bc he and West have had some weird poop stuff going on this week. It looks like they may be on the tail end of the stomach virus that is going around. While we were out we decided to go to the movies to see "Horton hears a hoo" it was really sweet and Thomas and West's first movie in a theatre. Thomas did really well for his age and West just nursed and laid in my lap the whole time. There was no one in our row so Thomas did run on the chairs a bit, I assure you though he was in good company with many other toddlers in the theatre also. I am feeling a little stretched this week...Thomas is not napping anymore and we are on week 2 of no one being 100%. Very little sleep for any of us..I hate to complain bc we are so blessed to have 2 healthy children. I am so blessed to be able to stay home with them and would not trade in my "doneness" for any amount of money. I can not imagine someone else seeing all of their "firts" all those little smile, today Thomas and I were laughing so hard bc we saying "chicken nuggets" in a funny way. We had 1st Wes last night at church and God really spoke to me during one song. There is a song that talks about " Oh no, you never let go, through the calm and through the storm, oh no, you never let go, you never let go of me!" " I can see the light that is coming, for the heart that holds on, there will be an end to this suffering but until that day comes, still I will praise you, still I will praise your name!"
Oh my friends..God is in control, in all the big things and even the little stressed out mommy days also. God's word tells us that he will never leave us, he will never forsake us, that all things work for good for those who belive in Christ Jesus, and that All things are possible with Christ!.
( Just needed to remind myself...)
