Update on West

Thank you all for your prayers, we ask you to continue to pray for him. We went back into this am and he sounded pretty bad still, even a little worse then yesterday. His skin around his ribs was pulling which indicates labored breathing. Another cbc showed that he still has the viral and that his white count is starting to turn so we are watching that closely. O2 stat machine would not work so we could not get that...breathing treatment etc...The plan is as follows, more prayers #1, go back in the am to be seen again, and if he is worse we may be admitted, if not we will go into peds plus on Sunday and be seen every day until he is better. Keep on with the breathing treatments every 4-6 hours and if any change take him right into the ER at MUSC. Dr. Hutton said she is seeing a lot of this, not RSV but acts just like it...There was some talk of an apnea monitor to take home which I think I will def ask for tomorrow if he is not better as I can not sleep unless he is on my or Tommy's chest. Believe it or not but West is so peaceful through this whole deal, not really crying, still feeding well, just sounds really snotty and wheezy etc.. Please continue to pray for his healing!!
