Thomas turns 3!!

Today was Thomas' 3rd bday. We had a quiet day at home with West a little under the weather. But tonight we went to Chick fa lae with the Mchenry's and Cochrans. He had a great time! Happy Bday Thomas, we love you so much!!

Mothers Day!

Today is Mother's Day. It is hard to be live that I have two little treasures to celebrate with today. Tommy has been so wonderful, he let me sleep until 10:00 and then brought me breakfast in bed. I was nursing West a little bit in that time but I never had to get up which was just heaven. I told him that was the best gift he could ever have given me, to sleeeeeppp. My babies don't ever sleep through the night so a little extra is always nice! Thomas made me a special tile at school with his hand print on it, I will show a picture later. And what makes it even more special is that Thomas' real bday is tomorrow! 3 years ago I was due on Mother's day and bc Thomas was over due he came a few days later. We are so thankful for the boys and especially for Thomas today on his bday eve!!

The Farmers Market in Mt. Pleasant

There are many good reasons why Mt. Pleasant is considered Mount Perfect and why their are hundreds of families who live there, one of them being the farmer's market, a great place to go if you have a family. Every Tuesday they have a great farmer's market with fresh fruits and veggies, a band, yummy food and tons of kids:) I highly suggest that you all try to go sometime. We met the Mchenry's over there today while daddy worked late and is was wonderful. It was such a beautiful afternoon to be outside, very relaxing to. Thomas had school and then later in the afternoon we went over there!

West's 1st trip to the beach and Thomas' party!

Yesterday we had Thomas' bday party. He does not turn 3 until the 12th but last Sunday was the day that we had his party. We had a wonderful turn out and the weather was wonderful. Thank you all who came and celebrated with us. It was an animal theme with a Lion cake, Animal mask from pottery barn kids and an under the sea air jump castle with a slide. Fun Fun Fun!
Today we had a lovely day at the beach with Jennie and Jake. It was our first trip this year and West's first time at the beach also. It was such a nice day and it really went well. Praise God for the stroller and the sling, I tell ya, this sling has been a life saver, West will sleep anywhere in it! Including the beach! Hopefully I can sort out a way to get some pictures loaded on the neighbors computer, we have so many sweet ones and I hate to not share them!

9 years ago today I met Tommy at the Kentucky Derby. We were laughing today at how much as changed in the last 9 years. Graduations, marriage, home buying, many trips, some deaths and our precious babies! Our God is so good. All the time! We could have never dreamed 9 years ago that we would be where we are today and that we would have 2 amazing little boys. This weekend we are celebrating Thomas turning 3! Time really does fly by so fast. We are so thankful today for all that God has given us. We look forward to being his hands and feet for many many more years here on Earth. Praise God for 9 awesome years!
