Our day started with swimming lessons for West in Mt. Pleasant. Poor thing has been so worried about these lessons for weeks. Although he was swimming under water last summer he wasn't in the pool all winter and then feel in early summer filling a water gun. Ever since then he's been really worried about pools, water park, zero entry pools, beach he's ok with all of these but the pool, a no-go. Surprisingly he did well, a fair amount of crying but he knew he needed to do it. Afterwards we headed to the park to play with our friend Darrin, the kids had a great time and I enjoyed seeing Bridgette and catching up, they are all so precious to us! Then we headed to James Island and spent the bulk of the afternoon with my mom, sister and cousins. Had lunch and the kids had a good time playing. Finally we met up with daddy ( was working all day) and headed to Bridgette's house to watch fireworks. My poor Thomas is really afraid of them, to the point of tears. Bless his little heart he sat inside and watched Star Wars I didn't get my children in bed until 11 pm! What a fun, tiring day!
