I have to ad mitt, I am not a huge fan of the beach. It is a lot of work with children, 599 degrees right now and the amount of stuff to take is NUTS! Well, tonight we headed out for an impromptu trip and had the best time. All we took was our bag, a baseball, and a bat. ( West found a shovel to borrow while we were there) Tommy carried everything, no sunscreen and it wasn't unbearable hot. We had the most wonderful time. The boys played and played and played, all three of them:) After they washed up the children played on the most beautiful playground, can't believe we live in paradise:)

Charleston truly is gorgeous. And I"m with ya! NOT a beach gal. That sand gets EVERYWHERE!
