More on today...

I wanted to come back and write a little more about today. Lindsay reminded last week with one of her posts that we tend to focus on the babies and not the big boys as much as we probably should.
Thomas is so precious to us. He is honestly the most beautiful little boy I have ever seen, and not because he is mine. People tell us often that he should model because he is so photogenic. He has the most amazing blond hair in a perfect little bowl cut, big blue eyes and the sweetest smile. Not only is he gorgeous but I can see the Holy Spirit molding his little heart every day. Now don't get me wrong, he is a Handful with a capital H but precious none the less!
As we were leaving the first bus today he said "Bye Mam, thank you!", where did that come from? Then after each bus that we got off of he always made a point to say goodbye. We have been working on him answering questions from others and making eye contact. We were trying to get him to tell a friend of ours that we ran into today that he had ridden the bus today and he was telling her about going to the Aquarium, what a big word for a little guy!
When we were at the Aquarium today he was up on this new boat they have there and there were a ton of children. My thought is that he was waiting on his turn to drive or something and the older children kept pushing him back, he burst into tears and came down for me to console him. I picked him up, so happy to comfort him, trying to ask him what happened. I love that he has a gentle spirit and did not push back.
