Home!

We are home!! We had a wonderful trip but ended up coming home a day early. Both boys have this nasty croupy virus and we were getting up camping early in the morning to sit in the car and give them breathing treatments and we had been having some rain so we thought it was time to pack it up. Crazy ride home, horrible weather in the Columbia area, we drove 35-40 on I26 for about 50 miles, we could feel the car hydroplaning several times, Tommy and I both said we have never seen anything like it. We were so thankful to get home to our beds safe and sound!!
We had a great last day at Kanuga despite the ER visit, check out the boys on Thomas' trucks that we brought from home, they loved them and served us well camping also.
Camping was really good too although a lot more work than Kanuga was. We went on 2 hikes one to 2 different water falls and one to a water tower. Tommy and Thomas and a few other hiked down the mountain for about 3 hours and I went back to the site with West and a few others.
We did have some rain and some sick kiddos but a lot of fun! I am sure that you will enjoy the pictures and videos to come. It was so nice to be able to be away, focus on our family and all the blessings the Lord has given us..
And you know, although not ideal, you really can live without ac, the Disney channel, a telephone or the computer! At least for a couple of days that is...
