Friday baking and whats brewing..

We had such a nice and productive day! Thomas starts back at preschool in a few weeks and bc of his Celiac Diagnosis we pretty much have to provide everything for him to eat at sh cool. So this am I made two dozen cupcakes so that we can freeze them and they can keep them at school for birthdays and special treats. Thomas tried and approved one, he is not a "sweet" guy which has really saved us with him having Celiac Disease so he just took a few licks off of the top and that was it. None the less the last thing we want is for him to feel left out so we'll take those on to school next week.
Bade and Kessler also came over to play with the boys today, not sure why I didn't get any pictures, but it is always really good to see Heidi and let the children play.
So whats brewing at the Gotbeter house? Tommy is going back to work for someone else. We have been in prayer over this for a long time and just feel that the Lord has opened the right doors for him to go back. We wont "close" our business bc its no big deal to keep it open. He cant really do any side work but can still hang a fan here or there if someone needs that. The Economy has slowed and gas is so expensive. Between those two things alone our fiances have really changed. Sometimes he would spend as much as $200+ just to drive a week!!! That combined with always chasing money, begging for people to pay their invoices and we are ready to move onto something else! He starts Monday and we are so excited to be starting a new chapter in our live this fall:)

I LOVE that picture of the boys in the refrigerator, especially seeing tiny little West standing next to big brother Thomas. That is too cute.

Congratulations on your news. I know it has been something on your hearts for a long time and a long awaited answer you hoped for in prayer. :)

Those look great, Brittan! I want the receipe. Any idea the carb count on them? We already took a load of stuff to St Pauls for William but haven't figured out how to handle birthdays or special treats. Those look good!

You are a really good Mommy! It is so nice that Thomas will have his very own sweet treats to have at school! How did you find out that Thomas had celiac disease? Does Tommy have it too? I saw on your date night entry that Tommy can't eat gluten either.
I'll be praying for the new chapter in your lives that it is just what God planned for you! :)
