Thomas is just precious these last few days. He has begun talking with hands, really being expressive with his language skills saying things like "not again!" Giving high fives with a big "YES!" attached to them. This morning while I was in the shower he was playing "towers" on my bed, stacking all the pillows up as high as they would go to make a tower. He has been in a big time I need my meme stage nearly all day and even sometimes in the night. Not really happy with daddy or Jasmine, although I feel alittle stretched between a baby who needs me 24-7 and a toddler who wants me, I am so thankful that I am able to be home with them and meet their needs when they call. Although the days are long sometimes, the years are very short. Each stage of parenting is such a blessing!! Thomas has been heard playing with his trains and talking all sorts of things to them, the other day he was laying on the floor saying "My ears are froze, my toes are froze, my tail is froze!" anyone know what scene that is from which movie? 101 Dalmations when the puppies are all trying to get back to London and walking through the snow. He calls it the puppy movie. He has been watching The Lion King also, aka the Lion movie. He's pretty aware that Simba needs his dad and when Scar and Simba are fighting he always makes it a point to tell us how we do not push, that's not nice!! I need to Blog about my feelings and questions surrounding Disney movies..We are having to pray about protecting Thomas and West's innocence but also letting them be children. And believe it or not there is a lot of stuff in Disney movies that I am not happy about..someone always seems to be taken from their dad or mom, magic, violence, smoking, drinking..
West is now sitting very very well! That really is a stage of parenting that makes life easier. He is not crawling but can get where he wants to go. He really loves our Sigg bottles to drink water out of and gets really "mad" when we take them away. He LOVES Thomas and lites up when he sees him, attacks him really pulling his hair, trying to eat his face etc. It is fun to watch them together.
We are so thankful that the Lord has given us this day with these two boys!! Thank you Lord!
"For I know the plan I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11
