Happy Christmas!!

Happy Christmas! What a blessed day we have had. The children woke up this am and were ready to see what Santa had brought. Thankfully Hartley slept way past the boys so we were able to do Christmas with them and then Hartley. It was a good thing because Hartley was crazy over West's tractor and wouldn't get off of it once she got up, which of course upset Westy, even though it's Christmas you can't make them understand to share. Thomas got a DSi, lego star wars 3 for the wii, mario brothers for his DSi and some other fun things, Westy got his tractor, some trucks and other fun stuff, Hartley got a baby cradle, her sweet baby doll and a bow holder. Tommy got some work clothes & a wireless mouse, I got a food processor, yay! Some fav body scrub and nice lip gloss. My mom and AnnaBelle came by for lunch and then Tommy's mom and sister Sarah came by, what a treat, Tommy hasn't seen his mom in almost 4 1/2 years! The kids were in bed shortly after 6 and I'm on my way. Make a joyful noise, it's Christmas time!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve

We headed over to Seacoast tonight for a Christmas Eve Eve service. We've been between Seacoast and Good Shepherd for several months now. We love both but because Seacoast has been our home for so long now it just feels like an old sweater when we are there, home..Long story but we thought the time was at 4, got there at 345 realizing we were super early. We popped into the back to watch the band rehearse. A friend ask if Thomas would like to sing with the kids because they needed some more. He said sure so up on stage he went. ( totally not dressed in anyway shape or form to be in front of hundreds of people) but precious none the less. I love that he doesn't have stage fright! Oh what a precious time as a family. Listening to my oldest belt out Christmas carols, lighting a candle for the kind neighbor who gave him a snow cone maker today and a baby who let me sit in church. We are thrilled to celebrate the newborn King this special weekend!

Christmas break playdate

Caroline and Kate come over yesterday for a playdate. Thomas and Caroline have been friends since they were babies. They are each others earliest friend. I love that they have other friends and don't spend much time together anymore but when they get together they pick right up where they left off. Jodie is such a dear friend of mine and I'm so thankful for all of our memories over the years. After playing here we headed to Chick fil a for lunch.

A weekend of Chritsmas celebrations!

Whew doggie what a busy blessed weekend! Tommy is finished with school for the semested so we've had lot's of daddy time! Woohoo!! Saturday we scored some bikes off of craigslist and a free bike trailor from some friends. We enjoyed riding around this weekend and hope to do it on a regular basis! I was an avid spinner when we got pregnant with Hartley and I really miss it. Saturday night we had Tommy's annual Christmas work party for the guys who work in the field out at Bowen's Island, we had lot's of yummy oysters! Today the children at church performed the story of Jesus' birth for the congregation, they were all so precious, even our "fussy sheep...." This afternoon we headed out to a precious Gingerbread house decorating party. The children had an absolute blast!! So much fun! Can not believe Christmas is a week from today!!!
