Crazy cooking!

I spent hours, really hours, in the kitchen tonight! Stuffed shells with homemade marinara sauce, homemade granola, and special Halloween brownies! Who says Gluten free limits you?!?

Popping Corn!

We are part of the Ambrose Farm CSA this fall and winter. Last week and this week we got some popping corn. The children were so excited to do it! You put the ear of dried corn in the paper bag, place it in the microwave for a min or 2 until the popping stops, and look what you get! POPCORN!!! We had so much fun with this!

Happy Birthday Shelton!

Shelton ( the little girl that I keep ) turned 1 today. We had the best time celebrating with her friends and family. Her mom made our family some gluten free cupcakes and made sure we had plenty to eat, what a blessing! The kids played and the adults ate oysters. Here are a few shots from the day.

Grandparents day, soccer and my helpers!

Today was Grandparents Day at Thomas' preschool. They had a sweet little Chapel service and then a little snack with the parents and grandparents that came.
Also the little ones are such big helpers, helpers at making big messes that is! Arent they so sweet though! The picture of Shelton is on top of my stroller on top of the bridge! She was really having a hard time so I popped her up there. She fell asleep holding onto my hand and then I put her back in and she never woke up! Westy went through a similar phase so I know "this too shall pass!"


Tommy has been playing soccer through our Church league for several years now. Many of their games are too late and start at 9 but last night they had a 7:45 game so we all went. They boys had a wonderful time running around watching daddy. Keeping them off of the field can be an issue so you can see West in this picture getting as close to the white line that he can! This little girl Gabby and West are just a few days apart and its hard to believe how much they have grown in a year!

Our Weekend:)

We have had a busy weekend but also relaxing at the same time. Today is cooler, we are so thankful, its been HOT! Tommy and I had a date night last night and went to Cocos. Sadly our favorite restaurant is closing and last night was there last night.. Today we had some friends come and help Tommy move our swing set and sandbox further in the backyard.
