Today sweet little West had his first PT appointment with Ms. Jaime down at MUSC. He really isen't too fond of PT bc they make him turn his neck in ways that don't feel so good. Ms. Jaime is really nice and they have a fun mirror and some fun toys so I am sure that he will do better as he gets older.West has something called (sp) tordacolus? Which means they are more likely to turn their heads one way and not the other. If left untreated esp in little babies it could be really bad. Thankfully West is not too bad. She feels like if we start working with him now and see her on a weekly, bi -weekly basis until he is a good roller he will be ok-Babies can get this from being squished in the womb, preemies get it from have the o2 tubes on their face and they turn away from the machine, hence getting in the habit of only facing one way, and some kids just like one side as a place of comfort. Funny thing, Thomas did this to but did not need PT for it.On a side note Ms. Jaime said that the typical baby car seats, the buckets, are really not good for babies. Babies are meant to be carried and not left in these buckets. She said that they usually are left in the buckets after they get home and learn to sleep in weird ways with their heads. Thankfully we don't have a baby bucket, just wanted to pass the information on:)

Ride bike pweeeese...
Tommy came home this am bc he forgot something that he needed. When he came in Thomas went and got his bike helmet and kept asking to "ride bike pweeese" we told him that Daddy had to go back to work but that they would ride bikes later. Funny thing though he kept the helmet on for over an hour, while watching TV and playing in his room...finally I got him to take it off before we went out to the shops for a while:)

Yard work:)
Tommy did some yard work this weekend, I was about to say, we did some yard work but that would not be telling the truth and he would be quick to correct me, lol...We have been talking about taking this tree out to extend our driveway up to the side of the house. What a job it was, it took him several hours to dig it up and then had to pull the roots out with his van. Thomas had a good time helping though..
Touch Down!!
Fast asleep....
